The Tun Razak Stock Exchange (TRX) in Kuala Lumpur represents a key initiative to establish the city as a premier financial hub in Asia. Spanning 70 acres, this multifaceted development includes office spaces, residential areas, hotels, and retail spaces designed to foster economic growth and innovation.

A central challenge for the TRX project was integrating an advanced digital infrastructure capable of supporting high-stakes financial operations while aligning with stringent sustainability objectives.

The Greater Southern Waterfront Project, Hong Kong

The Project

The Greater Southern Waterfront, encompassing 2,000 hectares along Singapore’s southern coast, is envisioned as a new major gateway and location for urban living along the city-state’s southern coast. This extensive redevelopment is intended to blend residential, commercial, and leisure spaces with a significant focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.

The Challenge

A key challenge for the GSW project was optimising real estate development to meet high standards of urban design, sustainability, and community integration. The project aimed to introduce residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, requiring meticulous planning to balance stakeholder interests and urban growth objectives.

Our Role

Somia Partners was approached by a firm responsible for developing a segment of the residential and mixed-use facilities.
